19th century hand-written documents

The translation of old, hand-written documents has become a speciality of ours. This particular project, carried out on behalf of a researcher based in America was delivered to us as quite low resolution scans of the original manuscript.

Translation from the original Dutch into English was therefore only a part of the work required as the pages needed very careful reading and research prior to the actual translation. The finished documentation was also required accompanied by substantial additional information concerning monetary values and historical references.

The nature of the specific manuscript means that specific details of this particular translation are confidential. However, we have subsequently been commissioned to carry out a number of further translations of a similar nature.
